Title: Rapid determination of benzimidazole pesticide in orange juice by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry
Abstract: Objective:A method was established to rapidly determine carbendazim,thiophanate,thiophanate-methyl,2-aminobenzimidazole and triabendazole in orange juice by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.Methods: The orange juice was diluted with water,and then subjected to solid phase extraction using HLB 3cc cartridge.Then the extract was analyzed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry with a mobile phase of water and methanol at a flow rate of 0.20 ml/min.Results: The method showed good linearity in the range of 0.01 mg/L~0.10 mg/L,the average recoveries of the 5 benzimidazole pesticide in orange juice ranged from 75.0% to 97.5%,the relative standard deviations ranged from 1.0%~8.6%,the limit of detection was from 0.0046 μg/kg~0.0116 μg/kg.Conclusion: The method was applied to determine carbendazim,thiophanate,thiophanate-methyl,2-aminobenzimidazole and triabendazole in orange juice with satisfactory results.
