Title: Selection of Aspergillus niger using corn powder as raw material to product citric acid
Abstract: The initial Aspergillus niger separated form soil was mutated by UV and DES, and by this a strain AS35 was obtained which could use corn powder as raw material. The result of fermentation in flask showed that the strain could use corn powder to produce citric acid effectively with 8.6% acid producing capacity and 66.2% transmission percentage of raw material, which is better than those of initial Aspergillus niger. This is helpful to the further optimization of fermentation medium.
