Title: Effects of Ligustrazine on hemorheology of chronic pulmonary heart disease patients at acute phase
Abstract: Objective To compare the effects of two different forms of ligustrazine on hemorheology of chronic pulmonary heart disease patients at acute phase and analyze the cost-effectiveness.Methods Ninety patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease hospitalized in Haigang Branch Hospital of Haikou Municipal People’s Hospital during Feb.2008~Feb.2012 were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group each consisted of 45 patients.Both groups accepted routine treatment,and were injected with tetramethylpyrazine hydrochloride and hydrochloric acid containing ligustrazine,respectively.Then the hemorheology indices,efficacy in the two groups were anlayzed.Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 88.9% and 91.1% in thecontrol group.There was no statistical significant differences between the two groups.The average costs in the treatment group and control group were 76.30 and 831.46 RMB yuan per case,showing statistically significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of ligustrazine on patients with acute chronic cor pulmonale is good with light side effects.The cost of injection with hydrochloric acid ligustrazine is low and it is worthy of clinical application.
