Abstract:The estimate of the rotational center of a rotating object is quite important when estimating the rotational velocity.This paper presents a method to suppress the affect of motion through resolution c...The estimate of the rotational center of a rotating object is quite important when estimating the rotational velocity.This paper presents a method to suppress the affect of motion through resolution cells to provide well-focused imaging results for the target being imaged by inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) with large aspect angles.The system forms two range-Doppler images by equally dividing all the received echoes,then estimates the rotational velocity and the rotating center by tracking the position changes of more than three scattering centers.Simulations demonstrate the necessity of the rotating center estimates and the effectiveness of the current method.Read More
