Title: An Introduction to the Study of the Traditional State Administration of China
Abstract: The concept of state administration,a special element of the traditional philosophy of China formed before the Qin dynasty, was popular after the Qin dynasty and the Han dynasty, and became the focus of attention by the Chinese thinkers and politicians of each successive dynasty.State administration in a broad sense has rich implications that are related to the ideas and principles and measures of such administration. It development roughly falls into three stages, that is,the primitive of the pre-Qin period, the formative stage of the Qin,the Han,the Sui and the Tang dynasty and the transitional stage of the Song, the Yuan, the Ming and the Qing dynasty. As the original form of the philosophy of ancient China, the concept of state administration is the starting point of various studies on the histories of thoughts in contemporary China. The exploitation of this profound ideological resource will be helpful to establishing both the subjectivity of studying the ideological history of China and the rational social and ideological order in contemporary China as well as the healthy and sustainable development of human civilization.
