Title: Tang Junyi's View On the Debates between Confucianism and Buddhism
Abstract: While interpreting the basic principles of Confucianism by means of the view of sakyamunism and Taoism, the confucians in Song and Ming Dynaties still made with consciousness a clear distinction with Buddhists on some basic principles. Tang Junyi, in his article made a contract between Buddhism and Confucianism from the perspective of the good learning, the relationship between existing and perishing between the nature of mind and the logic of heaven, between the reason of heaven and the reason of sage.
