Title: A Study of the Word "Qi" in the Kunming Dialect
Abstract: The word Qi (气) in the Kunming dialect is different from that in the Beijing dialect because the former is not only a modal word but also a quasi-affix which can help build some disyllables and quadrisyllabic words. As a quasi-affix, it can be used in gemination.
