Abstract: At the end of the Ming dynasty and the beginning of the Qing dynasty,education in northeast China remained in a vacant situation for ethnical controversy and war.Later on,a great number of criminals were exiled and lived there.Among them,there were erudite persons such as Chen Menglei,Wu Zhaoqian and Fang Gongqian.To make living,they carried out education in families or academies of classical learning.While spreading culture and knowledge,they disseminate the ideas of their own,bringing power to the education with fresh,over regional and content.They made great contribution to the education in that area.
