Title: Recipe-syndrome Correlation Study of Yinchenhao Tang and Yinchen Sini Tang on Inhibiton of Liver Fibrosis Induced by Dimethylnitrosamine in Rats
Abstract: Objective: To explore the recipe-syndrome correlation of Yinchenhao Tang(YCHT)and Yin-chen Si-ni Tang(YCSNT)on inhibition of liver fibrosis induced by dimethylnitrosamine in rats. Methods: Rats were randomized into four groups: control,DMN,YCHT,and YCSNT groups.Liver fibrosis model were induced by DMN intra-peritoneally injection for 4 weeks at the dosage of 10mg/kg body weight, once per day for 3 consecutive days in each week in rats. Each of groups was gastric infused respectively with distilled water(control or model group),YCHT group and YCSNT in the continuous 2-week modeling period. At the end of the 4th week, rats were sacrificed and their blood sample and liver tissue were gotten for detection. Results: Liver fibrosis induced by DMN in rats was improved by administration of YCHT.YCHT treatment for 2 weeks, content of Hyp was decreased remarkably(P0.01)and liver function and hepatic histology were improved significantly(P0.05 or P0.01);while those effects was not shown in the YCSNT groups. Conclusion: Efficacy of YCHT inhibiton of liver fibrosis induced by DMN in rats is far better than YCSNT.The pathogenesis of the liver fibrosis model is damp-heat syndrome. In addition, damp or heat pathogenic factor plays a very important role in this model. The syndrome is high correlation of YCHT.
