Title: Descriptions of Chinese Species of the Genus Hamba Distant (Homoptera: Achilidae)
Abstract: There are four known species in the genus Hamba in the world. The present paper deals with three species from China, of which two species are new to science: H. tranversimacula, H. angalimacula, spp. nov., the other one, H. seleucus Fennah, is a new record to China. A diagnostic key to species is provided. All the type specimens are kept in the Entomological Museum of the Northwest Sci Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry, Yangling, Shaanxi, China. 1. Hamba tranversimacula, sp. n. (Fig.2) This new species is similar to H. seleucus, but differs from the latter in the following characters: 1) body relatively small, 2) the blotch at stigma of tegmina alutaceous obiteratly, 3) the male genital structures. Holotype: ♂, Paratype: ♀, Mengyang, Yunnan province, 9-Ⅵ-1991, coll. Wang Yinglun and Cai Wanzhi. 2. Hamba angulimacula, sp. n. (Fig.3) This new species is similar to H. tranversimacula, sp. n., but can be easily distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1) frons with seven transverse foscous bars along lateral margin, 2) a triangular milky yellow present at basal third in disc of frons, 3) medial ventrl processes lanceolate at apex. Wang Yinglun and Cai Wanzhi; 2♂♂1♀, Mengyang, Yunnan province, 9-Ⅵ-1991, coll. Wang Yinglun and Cai Wanzhi. 3. Hamba seleucus Fennah, new record to China (Fig.1) Hamba seleucus Fennah, 1978, Ann.
