Title: The Research Development of A New Tunable Mid-IR Laser Crystal
Abstract: In recent years, many important accomplishments have been achieved in solid state laser. Many new laser crystals materials have been got and significant progress had been taken in the application technique of instruments. Especially, a new mid-infrared laser crystal based on transition metal-doped Ⅱ-Ⅵ crystalline chalcogenide has been developed. In this group of Ⅱ-Ⅵ crystalline chalcogenide, Cr~(2+)-doped Ⅱ-Ⅵ crystalline chalcogenide demonstrated good photoluminescence properties, with larger tunable wavelength and higher quantum yield in Mid-infrared wavelength at room-temperature.Which attracts more and more attention in the field of mid-infrared laser crystal.
