Title: Techniques in orthogonal optimization of polysaccharides from radix codonopsis pilosulae
Abstract: To optimize the fine water extracting process via Orthogonal Experimental Design;to study the influence of three methods:different water-soaking time(A) ,extraction time(B) ,and extraction temperature(C) on the extracting rate of Radix codonopsis Crude polysaccharide;and to test the Polysaccharide content using Phenol-Sulfuric Acid method. Polysaccharide yield as an indicator, the extent and impact of the extraction are followed by extraction temperature(C) extraction time(B) water-soaking time(A) . Radix Codonopsis Polysaccharide yield is affected by the different experimental factors as mentioned above . The best conditions of extraction are as follows:two hours for water-soaking time, three hours for extraction time, and extraction temperature is 100 ℃.
