Title: Genetic Diversity Analysis of Recurrent Selection of Flue-cured Tobacco Populations by SSR Marker
Abstract: Using SSR makers, this study analyzed the genetic diversity of three populations from recurrent selection of flue-cured tobacco for material.350 pairs of SSR primers were screened by 16 original lines, and 27 pairs of primers showed clear bands and stable polymorphism.PCR analyses were carried out among three populations of C0,C1,C2,46 individuals from each population were selected for analysis. The results showed that the polymorphic loci and heterozygosity of the improved groups were slightly lower than those of the original group, but the difference was not significant. The average genetic distance in C1 and C2 groups was smaller than in C0 group, but it did not change significantly. The genetic distance of some individuals from the improved group was enlarged by recombination. The results indicated that the improved group by recurrent selection had similar genetic variation to the original group, and the improved group could maintain approximate genetic diversity of the original group.
