Methods: 52 cases were divided into two groups...Objective:To study the clinical effect of the combined administration of motelukast and inhaled corticosteroid on the mild continuous asthma in children. Methods: 52 cases were divided into two groups: the control group of 22 cases were treated with inhaled corticosteroid and the therapy group of 30 cases with the combination of motelukast and inhaled corticosteroid.Results: The effective rate of therapy group with combination of motelukast and inhaled corticosteroid was 96.1% and that of the control group with inhaled corticosteroid was 68.1%.The two groups had a significant difference(χ2=5.874,P0.02).Conclusions: The combination of motelukast and inhaled corticosteroid was more effective than only inhaled corticosteroid.Read More
