Title: On Russian Philosophy's Religiousness and Its Paradox
Abstract: The Relationship between philosophy and religion has been a tangled problem in Western philosophical history.Broadly speaking, ancient Creek philosophy is a kind of religious philosophy;in Middle Ages, philosophy loses independence, but serves as an instrument for justifying Christian believes; modern Western philosophy attempts to suppress religion in the name of Reason.Discontent with this secular tendency,Russian philosophy relives the theme of religiousness of philosophy, which is embodied not only by its problem awareness but also its unique method. This effort to mediate philosophy and religion, however, implies an insurmountable paradox into Russian philosophy.
