Abstract:The three-dimensional dynamic finite element method(FEM) is adopted and a three-dimensional simulation model for asphalt concrete pavement with subgrade based on cross-anisotropy under mo-ving load is...The three-dimensional dynamic finite element method(FEM) is adopted and a three-dimensional simulation model for asphalt concrete pavement with subgrade based on cross-anisotropy under mo-ving load is established by the large-scale finite element analysis software ABAQUS.The moving load has been implemented into ABAQUS code as user subroutines Dload and Utracload.The response of the stress in the pavement structure is got by using ABAQUS/Standard code.The simulation analysis results under the common speed are compared with those during deceleration and acceleration.The results show that,under moving load,the surface course of pavement is mainly in three dimension compressive stress state;the responses of the vertical shear stress under load edge,the vertical stress and the transversal stress during deceleration and acceleration are basically consistent with those under the common speed;the horizontal loads caused by deceleration and acceleration have a remarkable effect on the longitudinal stresses and the horizontal shearing stresses.Compared with those under the common speed,the maximal longitudinal tensile stress increases by 15.8 and 13.8 times,while the maximal horizontal shearing stress increases by 243.0% and 228.9%,respectively.The results can give theoretical references to the design and construction of the pavement.Read More
