Title: The Textual Research of Common Words in Hakka Dialect and Minority Languages in South China
Abstract: This paper is mainly about the common words in Hakka dialect and minority languages in south China. The ancestors of Hakka moved from the North to the South of Changjiang and entered the living place of Baiyue. They got together with Shezu for a period of time,especially after they got to the juncture of the three provinces:Min,Yue and Gan. Today some oral words that have no written forms in Hakka dialect can meet synonyms with similar pronunciation in Baiyue languages. Maybe they are substrata in Hakka dialect from ancient Baiyue languages. And some common words that have written forms were borrowed from Chinese. In this paper gives a textual research for 55 words of them on the basis of pronunciation and meaning. [
