Abstract:There occur well-reserved and typical and complete geologic records of the mesoproterozoic in the Fanjing mountain area of Guizhou, where is a valuable place and window for the sake of studying the Ya...There occur well-reserved and typical and complete geologic records of the mesoproterozoic in the Fanjing mountain area of Guizhou, where is a valuable place and window for the sake of studying the Yangtze block of the late Precambrian. Still available data in geology and isotope geochronology show that in the area arises the orogenic belt of the Grenville-age shaped in ca.1000Ma± approximately. With original Jiangnan orogenic belt, both of them become parts of the Rodinia supercontinent in southern China. This working will deeply promote the study on the convergent, breakup and evolution of the Rodinia supercontinent in China, is of greatly scientific significance.Read More
