Methods:A comparative study was carried out on multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) of ploysomnography in 38 cases and 20 normal subjects, and sleep latency and sleep onset rapid eye movement periods frequencies were analyzed. Results: As compared with controls, the narcolepsy group showed that significance differences on sleep frequency (mean 3.45±1.10) and sleep latency (mean 4.21±2.23 min), and rapid eye movement (REM-) times (mean 2.40±1.20) was two or more on MSLT (P0.01). Conclusions:The result suggested that ploysomnography was of great significance in the diagnosis of narcolepsy and might provide an objective index for clinical differential diagnosis.Read More
