Title: Analysis on the Forms of Heavy Metals in the Sludge of Yantai Wastewater Treatment Plant
Abstract: With the sludge from the municipal wastewater treatment plant of Yantai as the research objects, total amount of heavy metals(Cu,Zn,Pb,Cd,Cr,Hg) in the sludge and each content of different existing forms were determined. And each existing form was analyzed. The results showed that the total amount of heavy metals(excepting Cd and Cu) in the sludge accorded with the acidity limit value in the pollutant control standards in the agricultural sludge in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant(GB18918-2002).Pb,Cd,Hg and Cu with greater toxicity mainly existed in stable residual forms and the form of sulfide and organic binding state, which were not easy to transfer into the environment.Zn and Cr mostly existed in the form of oxide compounds of iron and manganese, occupying 79% and 47% of the total content respectively.Zn and Cr had potential validity on biology. The above six kinds of heavy metals were few in the exchangeable ion form and the binding form of carbonate, which could be applied in the soil with pH value of more than 6.5.The control of heavy metals pollution sources and the monitor of the application soil should be strengthened.
