Title: Relationship between the expressions of CD44H,p-selectin and VEGF and the metastasis with lymph node in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship of expressions of CD44H,P-selectin and VEGF and lymph node metastasis in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemical staining(SP method) was used to detect the expressions of CD44H,P-selectin and VEGF in 60 cases of esophageal carcinoma. Results CD44H,P-selectin and VEGF expressed highly in group with lymph node metastasis. There was a significant difference between the group with and without lymph node metastasis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(P0.05).The expression of P-selectin was positively correlated with the expression of VEGF in group with lymph node metastasis(P0.05).Conclusion It is closely correlated between the expressions of CD44H,P-selectin and VEGF,and metastasis with lymph node in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, which might be served as biologic markers for assessment of the prognosis of esophageal carcinoma.
