Abstract: Li Qingzhao, who rose superior to almost all the other women poets in the ancient Chinese literature, earned a place in the manly-dominated poetic community. Her poetry symbolized the literary persons' character of life consciousness and broke through the bulwark between the literary men and the boudoir women. Her poetry also found a way to the so-called refinement culture of the literary society in Song Dynasty and consequently obtained the acceptance of the literary men and spread widely all through the centuries. This paper analyzes the literary men's character of life consciousness by means of introducing the awareness of life consciousness, the literary men's inclination to life consciousness and their pursuit of life consciousness.
