Title: Observation on curative effects of three therapeutic regimens for treatment of severe cervicitis
Abstract: Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of microwave combined with Baofukang suppository for treatment of severe cervicitis. Methods:One hundred and twenty patients who were diagnosed as severe cervicitis and treated with standard therapy were randomly divided into three groups according to different therapeutic regimens: 44 patients in group A were treated with microwave combined with Baofukang suppository;36 patients in group B were treated with microwave;40 patients in group C were treated with Baofukang suppository. After treatment, the improvements of clinical symptoms, cervical wound healing times, detection results of Thin Prep cytologic test(TCT),and postoperative adverse reactions in the three groups were followed up.Results:The curative rates in group A,group B,and group C were 90.9%,61.1%,and 12.5%,respectively;there was statistically significant difference in the curative rate between group A and group B,group C(P0.05),and there was statistically significant difference in the curative rate between group B and group C(P0.05).The healing of cervical wound within four weeks in group A was better than that in group B(P0.05),the disappearance speed of vaginal drainage within three weeks in group A was statistically significantly faster than that in group B(P0.05),the incidence rates of scab bleeding in group A and group B were 22.7% and 41.7%,respectively,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Microwave therapy combined with Baofukang suppository has complementary advantages for treatment of severe cervicitis, the method can shorten therapeutic time, improve curative rate, and relieve postoperative adverse reactions of microwave, which is worthy to be popularized widely in clinic.
