Title: THE NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF WARSHIP BY NON-CONTACT UNDERWATER EXPLOSION IN CLOSE DISTANCE
Abstract: The dynamic response of a warship has been simulated by the general finite element program ABAQUS,the problems such as element damaged and failure were effectively solved by ABAQUS when the underwater explosion was in close distance, the results of the response were obtained. The laws of stress response of the hull, local deformation, the acceleration response and the speed response of the hull were revealed. In conclusion, acceleration and velocity were always gradually decreasing from the bottom up,and the disparity of that in the nearest area from explosion point was the most obvious. The stress of the nearest area from explosion point of the ship was maximal, and the stress on the same place of different decks was different. The calculation results from numerical simulation corresponded to actual analysis, and it could provide evidence for warship structure design.
