Title: Effect of sildenafil in treatment of persistent pulmonary hypertension of new born:a clinical observation of 25 cases
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of sildenafil in the treatment of persistent pulmonary hypertension of new born(PPHN). Methods 45 cases with PPHN were selected and divided into two groups. The test group included 25 cases of patients admitted between June 1,2012 and May 31,2013. The control group had 20 cases with patients from June 1,2011 to May 31,2012. The control group was treated with conventional therapy but the test group was aided by sildenafil on the basis of conventional therapy. Comparison between the two groups was conducted in terms of the post-treatment changes of PAH,FiO2and PaO2,adverse reactions as well as the time of using respirator and the time of hospitalization. Results Compared with the control group,clinical symptoms and PAH had been ameliorated better in the test group. No severe adverse reactions occurred in the two groups. Conclusion Sildenafil in the treatment of PPHN has apparent clinical effect. It can be administered easily with no adverse reaction. It is worth to be promoted in clinical treatment.
