Title: Effect of carvedilol in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure complicated ventricular arrhythmia
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of carvedilol in the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) complicated ventricular arrhythmia(VA).Methods Seventy patients were divided into observation group and control group,thirty-five cases in each group. The patients in observation group were treated with carvedilol, and the patients in control group were treated with betaloc. The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),VA and clinical curative effect were observed in two group. Results The improvement of VA and heart function in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(P0.05).Before treatment and after two weeks treatment, there was no statistical difference in LVEF and premature ventricualr contraction(PVC) between two group(P0.05).Compared with pretreatment, there was no statistical difference in LVEF and PVC in two groups after two weeks treatment(P0.05).Compared with pretreatment, the LVEF was significantly higher(P0.05),and the PVC was significantly less after twelve weeks treatment in two groups(P0.05).After twelve weeks treatment, the LVEF in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05),the PVC in observation group was significantly less than that in control group(P0.05).There was no statistical difference in adverse reaction incidence between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Carvedilol for treatment of patients with CHF complicated VA can obtain significant effect by improving heart function and decreasing VA.
