Title: Master graduate student course on clinical epidemiology survey of cognitive
Abstract: Objective To understand medical schools graduate course on clinical epidemiology needs to provide the basis for teaching reform.Methods Xinjiang Medical University Admission 2009 Master type of clinical were researched for the study.Clinical epidemiology course in the open before the implementation of the survey,a questionnaire survey method,152 questionnaires,145 valid questionnaires were returned,the effective rate was 95.4%.Results 18.6%(27/145) did not understand the epidemiology,37.2%(54/145) did not understand evidence-based medicine,there were 40.7%(59/145) who did not understand the clinical epidemiology,with 66.2%(96/145) did not understand the relationship between epidemiology and clinical epidemiology,75.2%(109/145) do not understand the evidence-based medicine and clinical epidemiology of the relationship;in clinical epidemiology to evidence-based medicine can provide evidence in the choice of a higher cause and prevention were 71.0% and 82.1%;21.4%(31/145) did not care about the development of evidence-based medicine,17.9%(26/145) did not care about the development of clinical epidemiology,with 64.8%(94/145) of students thought that clinical epidemiological study would be helpful for future work,81.4%(118/145) of students believe that the concept of clinical epidemiology evidence-based education in teaching the importance of 72.4%(105/145) of students believe that clinical epidemiology study are added to a better knowledge of evidence-based medicine.Conclusion Before the commencement of clinical epidemiology course in understanding the level of interest students of the discipline and the expectations of the curriculum,most students believe that clinical epidemiology is useful on its own.Some students still very new to the program.At the same time,the course is full of expectations.The survey also obtained incease in clinical epidemiology knowledge of evidence-based medicine is necessary.
