Abstract:Focused on the problem of cracking which easily occurred in stepped boxed-shaped parts when multi-step forming,the maximal thinning of blank was chosen as the object function,and combining with the ce...Focused on the problem of cracking which easily occurred in stepped boxed-shaped parts when multi-step forming,the maximal thinning of blank was chosen as the object function,and combining with the central composite face-centered design of experiment,the forming process of the parts with different sizes were simulated by finite element software DYNAFORM,the moving least square based on second order response surface models was gradually established to replace the complex and implicit relation between the design parameters and output response,and then,global optimum design in the region of interest was found out using genetic algorithm.The optimized design size was got.The stepped box's cracks are effectively avoided during the multi-step forming to have the qualified part.Read More
