Title: Electric Power GIS System Architecture Based on CIM and SOA
Abstract: The electric power geographic information related classes defined in common information model(CIM) provide a semantic foundation for electric power geographic information exchange. In view of this and using commercial service GIS components, a 3-layer(including data layer, service layer and presentation layer) power GIS architecture based on SOA is proposed, and the function definitions and realization methods of each layer are provided. In the service layer, an electric power geographic information engine is introduced to achieve business application based on geographic information. Combined with application scenarios, the geographic information publication and interaction interfaces in service layer are designed and the implementation methods are given. After that, the approaches of power geographic information aggregation and standard geographic information publication are expounded. Finally, a prototype electric power GIS is developed on the Windows platform, which verify the practicality of the proposed architecture and the usability of interacting with other systems.
