Title: Study on Dog Immune-mediated Hemolytic Anemia
Abstract: Immune-mediated hemolytic anemia(IMHA) was hemolytic anemia correlated to the body's own red blood cell antibodies.Severe anemia and hemolysis in dogs caused a mortality rate of over 40% and the anemia was usually regenerative.Treatment of IMHA included supportive therapy to alleviate the anemia,dehydration and secondary complications,combining with specific drugs to suppress the immune system,avoid the red blood cells being attacked and promote bone marrow producing new red blood cells.
