Title: Rigid Polyurethane Foam Core and its Sandwich Structure
Abstract: Effects of raw foaming materials and processing parameters on the performance and quality of rigid polyurethane foam were studied. It was indicated that filling coefficient and foam density were the major factors affecting the performance and application area of foam core and its sandwich structure, and polyurethane foam sandwich was compatible with environment. The results showed that increasing foam core density cowld markedly improveg its mechanical properties. When polyether-mixed raw foaming materials and volume- filling coefficient between 3 to 4 were used, the comprehensive performance of foam core was the best.
