Title: On the Legal Relationship between Credit Card Issuers and Cardholders
Abstract: The legal relationship between the credit card issuers and the cardholders has the characteristics of diversity and affiliation. In practice credit card issuers often make use of the vacancy in law and their own advantageous position to make some unfair and unreasonable regulations on the cardholders, which not only hurts the rights and interests of cardholders but also goes against the long-term development of credit card business. Law-makers should pay attention to this situation and change it by perfecting relevant legislation. The risks of falsely using credit card should be assumed by the issuers and the plea cutting clause in the credit card contract should also be limited necessarily.
