Title: Detection of high sensitivity C-reactive protein and homocysteinein patients with coronary heart disease and its significance
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical significance of serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and homocysteine(HCY) detected in coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods The levels of serum hs-CRP and HCY in CHD patients(n=96) andnormal control(n=35) were detected. Results The levels of hs-CRP and HCY in CHD patients were significantly higher than those of the control(p0.01).There were also significantly differences among the sub groups of CHD patients, the levels of hs-CRP and HCY in creased following with the increase of severe degree of CHD(p 0.01 or p 0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum hs-CRP and HCY in CHD patients increase obviously, which can be used to evaluate the severityof condition as sensitive indicator.
