Title: Optimization of Extraction for Chlorogenic Acid from Ramie Leaves by Response Surface Method
Abstract: Objective To get the ultrasonic-assisted extraction optimization methodology of chlorogenic acid from ramie leaves. Methods The single factor experiments design was adopted to determine the experimental center factor value of ulrasonic-assisted extraction factors of chlorogenic acid from ramie leaves.Furthermore, the optimal conditions were determined to get the maximal extraction value with Response Surface Methodology by modeling tools MATLAB.Results The optimum extraction conditions were as follows: volume fraction of ethanol 77%,ratio of solid to liquid 1:16 and extracting time 11 min.Under the optimal conditions, the obtained experimental value of chlorogenic acid extraction rate was 0.248%,coinciding perfectly with the predictive value of 0.253%.Conclusion Utrasonic-assisted extraction is a kind of efficient and rapid method for extraction of chlorogenic acid from ramie leaves and a model equation got through the response surface method can be used to predict the experiment results.
