Title: Study on extraction of insoluble dietary fiber from Ormund pomace
Abstract: Insoluble dietary fiber was extracted from Ormund pomace by alkali dissolution. Single factor tests were made on the 4 factors influencing extraction rate (ratio of material to solution,concentration of alkaline, reaction temperature and reaction time) and the optimal extraction technology was determined by L9(34) orthogonal experiments. The results showed that the ratio of material to solution 1 : 10,the concentration of alkaline 0.5 mol/L,the reaction temperature 65℃ and the reaction time 1.5 h could lead to the yield as high as 41.81%.
