Title: Effect of adefovir dipivoxil on 18 cases of chronic hepatitis B
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of adefovir dipivoxil(ADV) on chronic hepatitis B patients with initial treatment.Methods All of 18 cases with chronic hepatitis B were taken as the treantment group,who were treated by adefovir dipivoxil at 10 ㎎ orally once a day for a month after the regularly comprehensive therapy.The control group with 11 hospitalized patients at the same time were treated with matrine sodium chloride at 0.6 g intravenous injection once a day for a month.Results The rate of HBV DNA 103 copies/ml, alanine aminotransferase normalization and HBeAg seroconversion were 94.4%,88.9% and 28.6% in the experimental group,respectively,while in control group the corresponding rate were 9.1%,72.7% and 14.3%, P 0.05.Conclusions The clinical effect of adefovir dipivoxil on chronic hepatitis B patients with initial treatment was significant.
