The aim of the study was to investigate the impacts of mineral admixtures which in fly ash silica fume cement ternary system on the reaction degree of cement. Combine the reaction degree of mineral admixtures and cement with the compressive strength to analysis the drying shrinkage characteristics of the composite cement paste. It is shown that for the same curing ages, drying shrinkage values of the composite cement paste gradually increase with silica fume increased, fly ash decreased. For the different curing ages, the curve of drying shrinkage of the composite cement paste is steep, then smooth gradually along with ages. The results also show that composite cementitious material containing5% silica fume can meet the composite cement paste which has small drying shrinkage value and high compressive strength when the total amount of fly ash and silica fume accounts for 50%.Read More
