Title: ANALYSIS AND MEASURES ON FOOD POISONING CAUSED BY VIBRIO PARAHAEMOLYTICUS IN LUOHU DISTRICT OF SHENZHEN DURING 2004-2009
Abstract: [Objective]To investigate the characteristics of food poisoning caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus in Luohu district of Shenzhen,and to provide evidence for the control of such events.[Methods]The data of food poisoning occuring during 2004-2009 were collected,and the cases of food poisoning caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus were statistically analyzed.[Results]The cases of food poisoning caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus accounted for 35.42% in total cases of food poisoning. The cases of food poisoning caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus mainly happened between May and October. The unit was mainly restaurant. The poisoning foods were mainly salad. The latent period varied 2.5h to 23.5h.[Conclusion]Vibrio parahaemolyticus is the chief pathogen of food poisoning. Monitoring of potential polluting links and the control of key period and population should be strengthed to ensure the prevention of food poisonings caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
