Title: The population policy of Korea and its’ lessons for rural China
Abstract: Korea has undergone a change from family planning policy of curbing population growth to new population policy of encouraging population growth.The population policy of Korea was successful in curbing the population boom and alleviating the controversy between the population and economy,social resource,environment.However,it also caused a series of social problems,including the growing population aging and the high sex ration.The above mentioned problems are being staged in rural China.If China could learn to lay down the law before every unveil fresh policy,make significant efforts to develop the social utility,use economic levers flexibly,which are the experiences of Korea,it will be beneficial to maintain a low birthrate,restrain the sex ration imbalance and aging of population and so on.
