Title: Efficacy of atropine combined with shenmai injection on treating vertigo-reports of 98 cases
Abstract: Objective: To study the efficacy of atropine combined with shenmai injection on treating vertigo. Methods: 144 patients diagnosed as vertigo were randomly divided into two groups, the ratio of cases in treatment group and control group was about 2:1. All patients were given the same basic treatment with energy mixture solution. 98 patients in treatment group were given atropine combined with shenmai injection, while 46 patients in control group were given atropine combined with danshen injection. Therapeutic effects were compared between two groups. Results: The time for symptom release was shorter, the cure rate and total effective rate (97.96%) were much higher in treatment group than that in control group (P0.05). Conclusion: Combination of atropine and shenmai injection is a good method in treating vertigo.
