Title: Application of combustion control technology for regenerative continuous heating furnace
Abstract: Imported PLC control system was adopted in regenerative continuous heating furnace of Hot Strip Rolling Plant,Baoshan Iron Steel Co.,Ltd.,to achieve various control functions.Control model and program were designed by the domestic design institute.But,in running process there were some problems,such as,uneven temperature in heat storage box,bad effect of small flow control,and over-temperature phenomenon in heat storage box,etc.For this situation,control functions were optimized,the models for regenerative inverting control,small flow control and temperature control of heat storage box were re-established,and relevant control program was accomplished.After improvement,effect was very good,and above mentioned problems were resolved.At the same time,temperature response was increased more than 30%.Through analysis of key control technology in regenerative combustion process,optimizing regenerative combustion control method for entire furnace is discussed.
