Title: The Expression of EGFR in non-small cell lung cancer and its clinical significance
Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of EGFR in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) tissuesand human normal lung tissues, and to explore its clinical significance. Methods The immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expressions of EGFR in 100 cases of NSCLC and 100 cases of paracancerous normal lung tissues. Its correlations with pathological grades, clinical stage, and lymphnode metastasis of lung cancer were statistically analyzed. Results The expression of EGFR in NSCLC tissues was significantly higher those of normal control. Conclusion The high expression of EGFR in NSCLC plays an important role in the occurrence and development of human lung cancer. But there are no correlations with its clinical significance.
