Investigation of Accelerated Laboratory Tests for Weathering Steel

Description: Both weathering steel and carbon steel were tested using an accelerated atmospheric corrosion test of dry wet cyclic immersion by 3.5% NaCl solution. Results indicated corrosion dynamic rule in accelerated tests was similar to that in exposure tests, and corrosion of steel in the marine atmosphere can be simulated by the accelerated tests.
