Title: Design of Fuzzy Internal Model PID Controller for an AC Servo System
Abstract: A novel method of combining the internal model control PID(IMC-PID) and fuzzy systems theory is proposed in this paper to design a controller for a class of high-accuracy AC servo systems.The proposed controller has only one adjustable parameter,and it can be regulated online according to the system error and its change by means of the fuzzy logic method.This scheme avoids the tradeoff between robustness and dynamic property when adjusting the controller parameter.Simulation results show that both of robustness and dynamic property are satisfactory.In addition,the controller is applied into a position tracking system.The experimental results show that the proposed method could achieve a better system performance and a higher precision than the conventional IMC does.
