Title: Application of laryngeal mask inhalation sevoflurane anesthesia combined with sacral block in children undergoing hypospadias restitution
Abstract: Objective To study the efficacy of laryngeal mask inhalation sevoflurane anesthesia combined with sacral block in children undergoing hypospadias restitution. Methods sixty children aged from 1 to 6 years old were randomly divided into laryngeal mask inhalation sevoflurane anesthesia combined with sacral block(group A),laryngeal mask inhalation sevoflurane(group B) and ketamine(group C) with 20 cases each.Remain spontaneous breath as far as possible during operation.Induction time, recovery time and the incidences of laryngospasm, vomiting, movement, change of circulation and respiration during operation and agitation were recorded. Results Compared with group C,the induction of anesthesia in group A and B were smooth with both induction and recovery time shorter(P0.05),and the heart rate in this group was faster than group A(P0.05),and less incidence of movement was observed during operation group A.Conclusion Laryngeal mask inhalation sevoflurane anesthesia combined with sacral block has advantages of quicker induction and recovery with less adverse effects, while it can also make airway management easy and suppress stress reaction effectively in children undergoing hypospadias restitution.
