Title: Study on Preparation of Chlorine Dioxide by Using Starch as a Reducing Reagent
Abstract: The data of large experiment indicates that by using starch, sodium chlorate and sulphuric acid as the raw material when the ratio of sodium chlorate and the starch's mole is 24∶1.5, the concentration of sulphuric acid is 5 mol·L~(-1), the temperature is 90 ℃ and the reacting time is 95 minutes, the yield of chlorine dioxide can reach 96%. So, reducing sodium chlorate by using starch as a reducing reagent is a new route of preparing chlorine dioxide.
