Abstract:The spatial variabilities of total nitrogen,NO3-1-N,NH4+1 and pH at different soil depths of a typical paddy soil in Taihu Lake watershed were studied using a Geostatistical method.The results showed ...The spatial variabilities of total nitrogen,NO3-1-N,NH4+1 and pH at different soil depths of a typical paddy soil in Taihu Lake watershed were studied using a Geostatistical method.The results showed that the concentrations of total nitrogen,NO3-1-N and NH4+1-N decreased with the increase of the soil depth.The variabilities of NO3-1-N and NH4+1-N were relatively high.The spatial distribution pattern of soil pH was similar to NO3-1-N,indicating a strong spatial correlation between them.The spatial distribution of soil total nitrogen and pH were analyzed by the method of Kriging interpolation.This study would have some significance in reasonable fertilization and protection of the ecological environment in the paddy field.Read More
