Title: Effect of Priming Technology on Seedling Emergence and Economic Traits of Sugarbeet in Field
Abstract: The result of laboratory experiment showed that the priming technology obviously improved the seeds germination rate for two sugarbeet varieties of HI0099 and MA10-6, and seeds germination vigor of the two varieties had similar regulation in the field. The seedling germination rate of HI0099 was reduced by 3.38% and MA10-6 was increased by 9.13% in comparison with that of the control. The germination peak and daily average germination percentage of the priming treatment seeds were notably increased in comparison with that of the untreated seeds, the germination peak was three days in advance, germination rate of seedling was increased35.18%, and daily average germination percentage was increased 0.46%.
