Title: Influence of Dressing-related Pain on Wound Healing Rate
Abstract: Objective To explore the influence of dressing-related pain on the wound healing rate. Methods According to inclusion criteria,60 patients with chronic wounds were divided into two groups randomly. The experimental group were treated with water-soluble penetration enhancers Azone and lidocaine using for local anesthesia. Then the control group were treated with normal saline.A numeric pain intensity scale, blood pressure and pulse rate were used to assessment the degree of pain. The time of debridement and wound healing rate were recorded. The observation period was 21 days. After debridement, moisturizer dressing were applied to cover the wound. Results Compared with the control group, the experimental group showed statistical significance in average pain score, systolic blood pressure, time of debridement and wound healing rate(P0.05).The difference of diastolic blood pressure had no significance between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Water-soluble Azone and lidocaine can relieve dressing-related pain, shorten the time of debridement and promote the wound healing rate.
