Title: A comparative analysis of corneal topography between emmetropia and myopia children
Abstract: Objective: To study the corneal topography of children who are emmetropia and that of myopia.Methods: 115 emmetropia eyes and 115 myopia eyes were measured by using a computerized corneal topography. The data were analyzed and compared.Results: The results showed the simulated keratoscopic reading two(Simk2) of myopia is higher than that of the emmytropia (P0.01), and the shape factor of the former (SF) lower(P0.05).However, the refractive power at the central optical zone, Simk1,the corneal irregular measure in both groups are of no significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion: The vertical refractive power of myopic eyes is higher than that of the emmetropia. In children myopic eyes, peripheral corneal flattening is decreased. [FK(WB80011。5]
